LLM will be hosting two booths at the Norwegian Festival in Central Park on October 1st from 8am to 12pm. We will be located at the Bandshell, near 72nd Street, where most of the festival activities will be taking place. Our two booths this year will be a "Norwegian Trivia" quizzes and raffles booth for adults and a ring toss for Little Vikings.
At the risk of sounding immodest, ours have been among the most popular booths at the event. (For a description of all the cool things planned for the festival, go to www.norway.org.)
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS. The festival includes a half-marathon, 3k race and a Troll Stroll for toddlers--if you want to run, please register with NY Road Runners -- www.nyrr.org
The festival is from 8 am to noon; we need volunteers to help set up booths, run them, and break down. Contact us at llm_nyc@yahoo.com if you can help and what time you'd be available (we hope especially to have a few volunteers to get there by 7:15 to help set up).
