This will be the fifth occasion on which we have been invited to the Consulate for meetings with parliamentarians, diplomats, or other members of the Norwegian government.

We will gather at November 2nd at 6 pm sharp, and following a brief period for socializing and light refreshments, the speakers will begin their presentation at 6:15.  The meeting will end at 7:30.

Reservations are absolutely necessary; a list of attendees' names will be presented to the lobby concierge. Because space is limited, and the event at the Consulate is always very popular, reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but, if necessary, preference will be given to LLM members.  Please rsvp by either return email or calling 212 787-6043 by 4 pm Tues, Nov. 1.
We are requesting a contribution of a minimum of $5 to support the Scholarship Fund of the Zone 1, District 3 of the Sons of Norway, of which Lillehammer is a member.  Each year, approximately 10 students (children or grandchildren of SON members) are awarded scholarships toward their college expenses; a number of children from LLM families have been the lucky recipients.

Consulate-General is at 825 Third Ave. (50th Street), 38th floor.  You will need to  present i.d. at the lobby concierge to be given a pass.
